The role
Registria is seeking an entry-level accounting professional to provide support to help manage the company’s accounting functions. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and possess high levels of integrity. The role will also manage communications with key clients, vendors and partners including the company’s accounting and audit firms and banking partners, when/if applicable. Candidate must be a self-starter able to work independently. The ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment, meet regular monthly deadlines, remain proactive, resourceful, and efficient is crucial.
What you will be doing
- Expense entry including:
- Responsible for entry of all accounts payable including accuracy and tracking of vendor invoices, managing AP cycles, and preparing payment runs
- Vendor management including vendor relations
- Responsible for monthly entry of corporate credit card transactions and weekly expense reports and reimbursements
- Sales tax filing and reconciliations:
- Assist in pulling sales tax reports for multiple states
- Approve returns alongside 3rd party vendor
- Assist with accounts receivable communications
- Pulling reports to aid in monthly client invoicing
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Daily cash management
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare and update monthly trend reports
- Perform general clerical work such as filing, copying, mailing, etc. as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
- HR Functions:
- Preparation of semi-monthly payroll and 401k contributions and any other employee payment obligations
- Preparation of payroll journal entries
- Assist in annual benefits enrollment
- Ad hoc projects as needed
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- Proficient in Excel
- Experience in SaaS and/or professional services business models a plus
- Experience with Quickbooks Online a plus
- Experience working with Quickbooks / Quickbooksonline; experience in other ERP systems for a conversion in the future a plus
- Exceptional Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets, create pivot tables, create reports, and analyze data in a structured manner
- Prefer experience with Sales Force Automation tools, specifically Salesforce.com
- Experience with time tracking systems like Harvest (www.getharvest.com) or similar

- Competitive salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 in Colorado, plus equity and bonus eligible
