It wasn’t long ago Registria was the new kid on the block at CES, where our unique approach to transforming product registration into a mobile-first customer on-boarding event generated a lot of buzz. It is humbling to reflect on the commercial release of Photoregister at the show two years ago and realize “text a photo” is now the method preferred by consumers to connect with the brands they buy. As of today, consumers have used a Registria service over 130 million times. The innovation partnership we share with the many product brands using our services has been truly special.

Together we dispelled two, long-held, myths in 2017:

  1. Only “penny-pinchers,” squeaking every day out of their warranty, register products.
  2. Offering Service Plans to new owners results in a negative first impression.

Together, we proved people who register products spend 2.5x more than the average US household, they write more 5-star reviews when greeted properly post-purchase, and they have dramatically higher satisfaction and repeat purchase scores when purchasing a Service Plan.
