Dave shared data from our recent Consumer Trends in Product Registration Report on how digital channels—especially mobile registration—are changing the way brands make their first touch point with customers.
Highlighting the importance of reviews, Matt talked about how reviews are “the new word-of-mouth.” Customers expect to see reviews on a brand’s website, and brands have seen a 44 percent increase in conversion when products had 11 or more reviews.
Once brands collect reviews, they can leverage them to generate even more sales by highlighting top-rated products on their website, ensuring star ratings are included with product information, and calling out ratings in email and print marketing. Review syndication is also a critical aspect of leveraging customer reviews, where brands can make sure their product reviews appear on hundreds of retailer websites, reaching potential customers right at the point of purchase.
